Baby's First Haircut - Make a Memory out of the Mundane

Life gets so busy that it is easy to forget to stop and make memories of the people right under our noses.  It is hard enough with the first child, but the second gets less photo time and the third, well we do have the birth certificate to prove parenthood. 

Here is a photo memory moment we took of Carter getting his first haircut.  Mild-mannered grandchild #3 nearly missed his opportunity to shine for the camera in the midst of our crazy lives.  I was heading out the door for a much-needed date night with hubby when I realized what his mom and aunt were getting ready to do.  I ran back upstairs for the camera and quickly shot these. 

With a tuft of hair gathered for his baby book and the images ready for processing, he will have a sweet memory that says, "You mattered to us".
