Family Session at (and in) Mary's Lake

This is a sweet family who wanted to have their family portrait session at Mary's Lake in Lawrence.  As we strolled through the steamy trails, I worked to capture natural shots of them without a whole lot of posing. 







 
This precious picture reminds me of a Mary Engelbreit drawing.






Someone decided the lake was inviting.   

Who knew that a family portrait session could be so much fun?

    How sweet!!! I think the one of her in the lake is the best one of all of them. What a great shot and how awesome of you to not freak and just keep shooting. You really captured a great shot.
