Top Spot is Losing its Top Model!

Tennyson, our top model for Top Spot Photography, is moving out of state.  We are so sad to lose his endearing presence and top-notch posing abilities, but know that his future is going to be bright. 

Here is a recap of the his budding career in Kansas:

Two weeks of age.

Six months of age.

One year of age.

What a great modeling stance he has!

We had our artistic differences about the use of hats in his shots.

But it all worked out in the end.

I am grateful to his business managers
and their encouragement.

Family Session at (and in) Mary's Lake

This is a sweet family who wanted to have their family portrait session at Mary's Lake in Lawrence.  As we strolled through the steamy trails, I worked to capture natural shots of them without a whole lot of posing. 







 

This precious picture reminds me of a Mary Engelbreit drawing.

Someone decided the lake was inviting.   

Who knew that a family portrait session could be so much fun? 

Engagement Session - Serena & Clint

While we were visiting the Clinton Lake location for Serena & Clint's July wedding, we took a few pre-wedding landscape portraits.  Both of them flowed effortlessly into dramatic poses and the chemistry between them was electric!
